Coming Fall 2026: Broadcast
A community bulletin for death work, grief care, ritual, and remembrance.
Broadcast is a quarterly print and digital publication designed to connect our community with death workers, grief practitioners, artists, educators, psychics, mediums, healers, ritual practitioners, and others exploring the many ways we care for one another through loss, transition, and change.
The print edition will be available free of charge at the Madison Death STUDIO + Bookshop, community events, and wherever Madison Death Studio hosts workshops, gatherings, and tabling opportunities.
This is more than a newsletter.
Broadcast is both a resource and a growing ecosystem for practitioners working in death care, grief support, caregiving, ritual, healing, and remembrance. It exists to help community members discover meaningful resources while creating opportunities for practitioners to connect, collaborate, and build relationships with one another.
Community-based care work is inherently interdisciplinary. No single practitioner can meet every need that arises around illness, caregiving, dying, grief, or remembrance. Broadcast is designed to strengthen the web of support that exists between practitioners, caregivers, grievers, the dying, and the broader community—making it easier for people to find the resources, relationships, and care they need.
Each issue will feature:
Community resources and announcements
Upcoming workshops, events, and educational opportunities
Practitioner profiles and offerings
Writing, reflections, and creative work
Local and regional death care resources
Opportunities for meaningful connection and exchange among participating practitioners
Broadcast will be available free through Madison Death Studio, partner locations, community events, and online.

Help Us Broadcast this Work
Broadcast—both as a publication and a practitioner network—is rooted in the belief that meaningful community-based death, grief, and caregiving support happens through relationships.
Our hope is to strengthen connections between practitioners, caregivers, grievers, and community members while making it easier for people to find the resources, support, and guidance they need.
Whether you are a practitioner looking to connect with peers and colleagues, a community member seeking supportive resources, or a partner interested in distributing Broadcast, we would love to hear from you.
